My name is Sally Lu and I'm a digital artist creating pieces inspired by my favorite shows, games, and more. Most of my art is characterized by bright colors, pencil textures, and fine details. When I'm not hunched over my drawing tablet, I enjoy reading fantasy books, visiting dessert cafes, and attending concerts!

william black chibi stickers ₊ ⊹
Worked alongside the talented William Black to create chibi versions of his character, Shadow Boy, and his adorable dog, Ava, for his tour merchandise!
From Sketches to Color
I believe research and constant iteration are the foundations of creating a great end product :)
Inspired by his discography and what I've gathered from personal interviews, I created illustrations to match William Black's brand and visual identity.
Final Designs
The three designs I created for William Black; Thank you to him and his team for letting me be a part of it all!
william black jersey designs ʚɞ ⁺˖
Who would have known clouds were so difficult to paint??I had the incredible opportunity to work with one of my favorite musical artists, William Black, on the graphics for his new jerseys. This project quickly became one of my favorites, and I’m proud of how everything turned out!
Rough Sketches
The core theme for these jerseys was a "good vs evil" / "heaven & hell" concept that featured his character Shadow Boy!
Final Drafts + Mockup from WB Team ⭑
The two designs feature Shadow Boy in a contrasting heaven-and-hell landscape, symbolizing the duality in William Black's music. Fans can also showcase their personal style by choosing which jersey best reflects their vibe!
Super happy with the finished results and I'm so glad to be a part of this project! Thank you to William Black and his team!

HEY!TAE Brand Book
Brand books define and summarize a brand's visual identity! Flip through the HEY!TAE book to see what makes HEY!TAE stand out from other music festivals :)
HEY!TAE Logos
A key part of the project was designing the festival's logo, including variations for different sizes.
